The role in practice

A qualified conversation. A clear next step.

The right setter turns attention into conversations your closer can work. We recruit for qualification, follow-up and disciplined handover — with the role shaped around the leads you already generate.

01

Start the right conversations

Inbound enquiries, social DMs and community conversations, handled in the language of your brand and within the channels agreed in your brief.

02

Qualify before the calendar

Understand fit, intent and the problem the prospect wants to solve. Clear qualification criteria help your closer spend time on the right calls.

03

Own the follow-through

Relevant follow-up, appointment confirmation and useful CRM notes. Every booked call should arrive with context, not just a name and a time.

For businesses with enquiries to work and too little time to work them well.

The scorecard

Define the standard before the search.

Experience matters when it is relevant to your offer. We agree what good looks like, then assess evidence against the role.

  • Lead response and follow-up discipline
  • Quality of discovery and qualification
  • Qualified appointments and show rate
  • Clear notes and setter–closer handover

Before go-live

A new hire needs the right foundations.

Recruitment continues through preparation and handover. The person you choose is trained on your offer, with clear expectations before they begin.

  • Your offer, audience and qualification criteria
  • Channel access, approved messaging and CRM workflow
  • Calendar rules, handover standards and agreed KPIs

Fees, timelines, role requirements and placement terms are agreed with you before the search begins.

Useful to know

A clearer brief starts here.

Do I need a setter or a closer first?

That depends on where the work is getting stuck. If conversations are not becoming qualified calls, a setter may be the first seat. If you have enough qualified calls but still take every one yourself, a closer may come first. We map that decision in the consultation.

Can a setter work with my current closer?

Yes. We define qualification and handover around your existing sales process, so both people work towards the same expectations.

Our commitment

We share the risk of every placement.

30-day replacement guarantee

If a placed rep leaves or underperforms within the first 30 days, we replace them at no additional cost.

Support beyond the placement

Weekly check-ins, KPI reviews and a clear onboarding plan help your new team start with structure and accountability.

Terms agreed upfront

Fees, terms and scorecards are agreed before we search — and every engagement is backed by a formal client services agreement.
